One person is dead following a crash involving a Honda Civic with Connecticut plates on Route 8 in Torrington on Sunday morning. State police have not released the identity of the man who was killed. He was a passenger in a Honda Civic that went off the road between exits 45 and 46 northbound shortly before noon and struck a wire rope guardrail.
